Partnering: an essential Arts ingredient
Welcome to the Canberra Wind Symphony: A Wind Ensemble in Full Flight
and the freshest contributor to the international wind music conversation.
The very fine players who bring so much to so many have dedicated their childhood, youth and adult lives to studying and perfecting the performance of music, yet there are so few national outlets for them to do so at an international standard. To that end we request your assistance.
The Canberra Wind Symphony isn’t seeking sponsors. We’re looking to engage with passionate people and organisations that wish to support exceptional performances at the highest international level through partnering.
Significant exposure can be expected through the annual audience reach of one thousand (concerts) to ten thousand (festivals) across a wide demographic representation in six (plus) performances spaced evenly across the calendar year.
Without Partners the privately funded Canberra Wind Symphony will remain dedicated to exceptional performances, but players won’t receive recompense for their time, skills and hours of practice, or their out-of-pocket expenses relating to travel.
A complete overview of support package Partner Benefits is provided in this document, including the exciting personal interaction opportunities available to Full-Flight Partners.
A note on printed performance programs:
CWS is an eco-conscious organisation committed to renewable resources. Although information about program content will be physically provided at
each venue, it won’t be in a traditional printed program format.
Full-Flight Partner logos and ads, Valued Partner acknowledgements and all other information will be presented on the CWS Website and CWS Web App.
Please note: As a foundation principle, CWS has a desire for philanthropy through the arts to go in both directions. $500 from sales (not partnerships) of each ticketed performance will be donated to Beyond Blue to assist with their work in tackling depression amongst Australia’s farmers, and funds will also be sought to provide free tickets to those in the community who would not normally be able to attend high-calibre live music performances.
